I mentioned to a friend today that playing City of Heroes made me feel like Batman. His response?

“Which one? The campy Adam West Batman? The suave Michael Keaton Batman? Perhaps the sucky George Clooney batman?” I finally decided I felt like the dark, brooding Frank Miller Batman from “Dark Knight Returns”.

So I thought I’d ask all of you - which hero do you feel like when you’re playing City of Heroes?

Tonight, Blue Boxer and Silent Tsunami went toe to toe against the Lost. They were quickly surrounded - but with their newest level 28 attacks, they made short work of their attackers.
At one point we were surrounded by 20 white minions and 4 yellow lieutenants (the psionic ones) and it was still over so quickly as to be a bit embarrasing. We’re beginning to think that with my endurance draining abilities, we may eventually form a “Rikti Bane” supergroup. I can’t wait to take them on!

You know, it seems like every time I roll up a new alt (that’s alternative character for the abbreviationally challenged) I get excited about the new tilesets they sneak in to the game. For example,

No, not Santa Claus (although I believe in him too), Babbage is indeed real and last night, finally, I saw him and brought him to justice!

By the way kids- in Issue three (some time after January 1st), Cryptic will be making the monsters MUCH harder (Kraken, Adamastor, Babbage and the like) - specifically, the monsters will scale to the difficulty of whoever is fighting them. This means it is going to be a LOT harder to get the badges for those beasties - so if you want to be sure and get your badges, you should be hunting those monsters now!
