Who would Robin be without Batman? What about Wendy and marvin - would they have been effective apart?

Of course not. But I don’t see very many Dynamic Duos in City of Heroes, and it’s a shame.
It’s primarily a logistics problem. How do you stay in sync with another player? How do you know when each other is on? But the rewards are worth the effort. Not to mention the costumes.

Here are a couple of our duo outfits. I’ll post the next two sometime in March. Come on - you knwo you want to. Duo!

When I team with blue Boxer and we get some of those Circle Of Thorns portals that spawn behemoth lords, I help him with these simple steps.

#1- Have your Steamy mist on. It provides fire protection AND damage reduction.
#2- Jump up into the doorway of the portal.
#3 - Hit static shock and drain the end of the behemoth lords/
#4 - A Quick lightning storm to help him shoot
#5 - Now turn on hurricane and watch the fun! Your teammates can kill the portal at leisure while you watch their back and zot behemoth lords.

I got my first look at one of Portal Corps’ portals today. Totally awesome.

Sometimes the devs give you a hand. Like in this mission where a conveniently positioned peephole made it possible for me to kill the bad guys in perfect safety.

I’ll be looking for these from now on!
