The Origin of Grey Fang

For a time–a long time–things were normal.
He doesn’t remember much about that.

For a time, he was reforged. There was a lot of pain but… that’s not so much important. They made sure it wasn’t.
Their mistake.

The Circle of Thorns, as everyone knows, are powerful wizards. They lurk about in dark pre-Gothic caverns and scheme dark schemes–that always seem to get foiled by some over-lucky superhero, if not by their own internal bickering.
But there is a lot of power there. They do get a lot of evil things done. The tip of their evil iceberg shows in abductions and rituals in dark alleys in Paragon City, usually ripping the soul free of a hapless victim so some antediluvian sorcerer can have a new body to cruise around in.
Well… that’s usually what they do.

Fallout turns 41!

I finally got fallout sickness to level 41. Despite numerous suggestions I picked the Electricity Mastery Epic Power pool, with Thunder Strike as my first power. My reasoning is that:

#1 Thunderstrike is REALLY COOL!
#2 I can pick up Power Sink later to help with my ED / End problems
#3 I’ll feel a lot safer following Blue into the heat of battle with a good high dammage Melee attack.
#4 Did i mention how cool the Thunderstrike is? It is a targeted melee two handed overhead SMACKDOWN! Does really good dammage to the target, secondary dammage to nearby targets and deals GREAT knockback to primary targets and nearby foes! Slow animation though.

Merry Christmas

Everyone must have a Joyful Yuletide! Doctors Orders. (That’s right, check the badge, I am a Doctor now.)

It’s official - we didn’t even place in the contest

What a shame - considering this site has been active for longer than almost any supergroup site listed - and considering the amount of original content - we didn’t even get an honorable mention. Good thing that blue got a copy of CoV from Santa Claus.

Meh - we still have the best site on the net! I award us the “Awesome COH Site Award!”

Pulling 303: Advanced Pulling

So now you know how to pull (Pulling 101) and when/where to pull (Pulling 201) and are well on the way to becoming a Pulling Snob. The final test, young padawans, is knowing the behavior of your pulling victims. At lower levels, this is pretty easy. You shoot a mob, he shoots back and chases you around a corner.
Once you get into your teens, minions start appearing with annoying abilities like mezzing or buffs.
You may just think; “well I just won’t pull those.” Well, that’s a good plan, but it doesnt always apply.

Frostbite — Our Worst Enemy During the Christmas Events

Every year around this time, we Heroes are faced with an even greater array of cold wielding Villains than usual. As one of my SG groups healers, this means an increase in the frequency of frostbite among my team mates. In order to inform and serve the hero poplation at large, especially with the increase in snowbeast and blights in Paragon City, I present the following information on the subject.

Finally - a calendar!

Hey hey - so I finally got off my butt and figured, hey, ANY calendar is better than none (right?) so I’ve installed a calendar plug in to the site.

How do I post events to the calendar?
Post as normal, but select the ‘Event’ category rather than chat, etc and it will be automagically added to our event calendar. If you choose multiple categories AND include event, the post will show on both our home page and the calendar. Simple right?
