After Blue mentioned that the new catalyst drivers did not support his chipset, I went to ATI’s site to see if there was an even newer version of the catalyst drivers available.
LOW AND BEHOLD! Catalyst 6.6 was out. With a fix for some CoH issues no less. So, I downloaded it and started the installation. Guess what!? It does not support the graphics chip in MY NOTEBOOK! MY LESS THAN 6 MONTH OLD NOTEBOOK!
You better beleive I have sent rude e-mails to ATI. I will never buy another ATI or HP Product again, forever.

Tammie Gun and her Thugitronic Boi Band raced quietly down the hall to a T-shaped intersection. The thugs paused, looking to Tammie. She nodded at the stairs. They rounded the corner and–
“Same target!” Tammie shouted, pounding the nearest Wyvern agent with a force bolt. The hapless do-gooder went flying and the Boi Band sent a multitude of bullets to speed his impact into the wall. Even as they finished off the armor-laden agent, another shouted out from the end of the room “It’s Tammie Gun! Don’t let her get the files!”
“Who are you talking to?” she asked. “This guy?” she waved a pistol at the now-unmoving agent.
Face wrought with grim determination, the Wyvern leader pulled a fistfull of arrows and let fly!
Tammie and the Boiz watched the arrows clatter off their force fields with a mixture of mirth and puzzlement. She rolled her eyes. “Take him out. The quicker we’re done with this, the quicker you can get back to your whoring.”
Before she uttered the word “quicker,” the Boiz were unloading lead, making bullets whing! off the agent’s armor. “That’s a leader all right,” Tammie muttered, pulling her pistols. She took aim–
Pretti Boi hit the agent full in the chest with a round from his .45, knocking him over a table with a whump. “I’ve got to get out of here!” The agent shouted from the floor.
“Fat chance of that,” Tammie cried, squeezing triggers–
Without warning the world went spinny. The room, the Boi Band, the agent, everything disappeared in a swirl of flawed logic and bad code. Tammie was dumped unceremoniously outside the door with a distinct feeling of failure in her gut.
“WTF!?” she cried.

OK, Im on board with the AV caterwauling now. Did Fannie’s 48 Nemesis mish last night with a 50 claw scrapper, 38 tank (sk to 49), 41 troller (sk to 46), 50 emp def, and a 41 scrapper (sk to 49).
Nobody had any debuff. After 15 minutes of fight, where neither side was in any real danger despite Nemmy being spam-held several times, we retreated down a level and I recruited a dirt/kin troller and another blaster. I don’t what (if any) debuffs Earth Control gets, but just that one addition of Transfusion made Nemmy suck floor.

I’m thinking that the recent snafu has had FAR more of an economic impact than we thought.

Tachyon Fringe and Film Noire had recieved an urgent tip from one of their many contacts that the Freakshow had allied with the Circle of Thornes in order to imbue their technological devices and implants with magical energies.
Knowing that this would make the Freakshow Threat nigh unstoppable, we rushed to Talos to try to retrieve or destroy the prototypes for these techno-mystical implants.
As soon as we touched the door to the underground lair in which the vile and unnatural ceremonies for creating these items were taking place, time seemed to stand still. (Extremely Long Load Screen, followed by Map Server Disconnect). When we came through, we seemed to be almost 1/2 mile away from the Circle abode. Time being of the essence, we quickly started back to our objective.
