Veteran Rewards: Now players will receive rewards for the time spent playing the game.  New costume pieces, badges, powers, pets and more!  Something new every 3 months!

Police Band and Safeguard Missions: Calling all Heroes! Bank Robberies, Sewer Bombings, Jail Breakouts and more villainous attacks are in progress!  Monitor the police scanner and come to the rescue to thwart these diabolical schemes!

A quick update on what I’ve liked BEST about PayPerPost (well, other than the money of course - thus far I’ve earned $102.00 doing a post here and there which has kept me playing a game I LOVE without fear of running out of funds)

Probably the ability to choose what I write about has been the best for me. I don’t take any opportunities I don’t like, ever. If they don’t fit here, or they don’t make sense, then I skip them. In fact I haven’t done many posts lately for that reason! Although I will be launching a personal blog shortly which will probably make more use of payperpost - but that’s because I have a wide range of interests that aren’t all really reflected here (nor should they be!)

Anyone interested in trying a teamspeak type chat client? I am willing to set up a Ventrillo server for us to use (and run it on my laptop while we’re on). The windows client is available for free. Send me a comment here or in game. (You’ll need a headset or something, I think, and probably a broadband connection.) I’ll be limited to 8 connections, but that should suffice for the PCDA Elite. We can test it and see if it’s worth using.

I will make an edit to the PCDA Message of the Day on Triumph with connection info and where to e-mail me for an account on the server.

No free respec with Isuue 8, but sometime between 8 and 9, my actual favorite characters are getting some love, and we’ll get a freespec. Here’s a link to the red-name post, who kndly provided a link to the other red name post.

If any of you folks read Wired, you saw this already, but I’m putting up a link for those who may have missed it.

If you play an online game that you enjoy, there’s one surefire way to spoil the experience: read the forums on the official site. There you will find a vast underworld of lost souls keening their misery onto your screen. A game you thought was entertaining, well-balanced and attractive will be torn apart before your very eyes and pronounced lacking in every conceivable way.

We’re all getting damned anxious - the question is - will Veteran’s rewards come out this week?

Hard to say - but Liberty and Victory servers have crashed… so looks like it’s going to be one of ‘those’ Monday’s for the good folks at Cryptic.
