So I got my shiny invite from NCSoft to try out Dungeon Runners, and thought I’d talk about it a bit here on the old PCDA. Seeing as how we’re all MMO fanatics (hence the site) and have at least a passing loyalty to NCSoft.

..and with the holidays approaching, I feel that all that cheerful goodness deserves a reward. (After all, if we don’t get rewards for good behavior, why do it? Next thing you’ll be saying is that goodness is it’s own reward - and that’s just crazy talk!)

But what to ask for? Santa is a busy guy,this time of year,so I don’t want to waste his time with frivolous wishes like a PS3 - like he has a chance of getting his hands on one anyway - parents are brutal this time of year! I’m pretty sure I saw a sweet little old lady use a shopping cart to ram a teenager out of the way while cackling something about ‘PS3 for my Grandbabies!’ Or maybe she was going to sell it on eBay - but I digress…

Finally, a web place I can go to and find all the info I need so that I can have SuperStrength, Wall-Crawling powers, and Evil Robot Mini-minions.

Speaking of winter events, have fun making this Santa ‘bust-a-move’ with some North pole dancing. I’d like more moves, but hey - it’s darned funny. I sent a couple to my folks because I know it will make my mom laugh. They have quite a few little christmas flash games that kept me from working for longer than I probably should have.

Yeah it made me giggle - I’m easily amused that way. I spent literally weeks snickering about hampsterdance.

I’m going to put my money on next Tuesday - seems most events/patches have a history of launching on Tuesdays. And if it gets out on the 19th then at least a LITTLE of our holiday event will actually come before the new year.

Question number two is - how long will it last? My guess here is through the end of January, considering the late start it’s getting. And since it is a ‘winter’ event after all, it could run that long without feeling weird. However if it ends up running short, then Sue is going to spend a LOT of time online getting all those costume pieces (earmuffs, SQUEAL!)
