Well here we are already up to Issue 10, and it’s safe to say that the invention system has been a big success. And now as we all collect our shiny gadgets and gizmos, my thoughts turn to the virtual economy and it’s growth since crafting was introduced only a few months ago.
You read that right, the devs are now soliciting opinions on ways to fix defiance. Simply put, they have admitted what many of us knew from day one: that defiance as an inherent was a cool sounding attribute that simply doesn’t work in a CoH game mechanic.
So here’s our chance; if you have an idea how Defiance could be retooled to make it actually viable and valuable get in the thread and speak your mind!
Okay, I don’t know how anyone else feels about the dropships (okay, I know how ONE other person feels,) but I am so geeked about I-10 it isn’t even funny. Furthermore, I can’t wait to dust off Blue, and actually get him in the fight. Only problem is that he is several issues out of date. Like pre-ED out of date. So, he needs a respec badly.
Saw this on the boards and HAD to post it here. There is a new class of Rikti, the Rikti priest. Wearing a red robe. Which prompted this tidbit from Tundara:

Well, I don’t think too many of us are surprised, but NCSoft and NetDevil announced on Monday that they will be shutting down Auto Assault effective midnight August 31st. Although the concept was intriguing, the low subscriber numbers were a death sentence for this one. NCSoft will be “reconciling prepaid accounts appropriately” which I take to mean that they will be refunding them - which means there aren’t many (if any).
Anyone here still playing? I tried the beta and was so not into it, but I recall Chi tried it and loved it.
You read that right, the ‘practically undefeatable’ Rikti dropships have been brought down on test, and someone was thoughtful enough to demorecord the entire event. Make sure your sound is turned UP, the music really adds to the movie IMHO.
I am SO going to be on a Rikti dropship raid when this goes live - talk about an awesome site. The test server team (well group of teams) “Steel Vendetta 70″ dropped 9 ships in under 7 minutes. Impressive!
